You won't find many full-service Coney Islands around anymore, but this one in Southwest Detroit has been going strong for 36 years. Every day, the place fills up with families enjoying delicious, affordable meals, and the breakfast potatoes are something special-boiled and shredded multiple times a day. If you're looking for classic comfort food in a friendly atmosphere, this is the spot, just off Vernor Highway with plenty of parking available.
