Having frequented Evie's for years, I can attest to the quality and authenticity of their Mexican cuisine, comparable to higher-priced options in Detroit's Mexican Town. It's a popular spot among locals and law enforcement alike, known for its delicious tamales and excellent service. I always make sure to grab some sweet tamales as a special order, along with enjoying their flavorful tacos and perfect menudo.
