Established in 1979, Downriver Classic Mexican restaurant has been drawing in patrons for over 43 years. The recent reopening of the dining room by the original owners has created a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The variety of taco styles and flavorful dishes like the Double Chicken Fajitas and Shredded Tinga Chicken Enchiladas in Salsa Verde Sauce make for a satisfying dining experience.

The food here is good, fresh, everything that we have ordered from these guys has tasted really good!!! I just wish they were open Sundays!

Taco Especial has really good food delicious love the food l live right down the street from the Restaurant l go there alot for lunch and dinner and they have real nice polite service and employees the owner is nice to .

The radio/music inside the restaurant was horrible....way, way to loud. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation. We had to gobble down our food so we could leave because of the music. I will never go back.

I've moved across the country at this point, but grew up on Taco Especial. used to be across the street, but they've moved. Now I think it's called Maguies or something along those lines... ANYWAY.
BEST CHICKEN TACO'S EVER.
they shred the meat and it's slow cooked in this delicious sloppy sauce, Munster cheese, lettuce tomato and maybe a bit of sour cream. flour shell.
Tell them Michelle sent you.
