My brother in law recommended Sahara too me and I am VERY glad he did. I picked up Chicken Shawarma’s today and they are AMAZING! The are stuffed with chicken very moist (not greasy). I used to get the CS from another restaurant and they did not have as much meat in them and are were more expensive. The owners and staff are very personable and the service was excellent. I HIGHLY recommended Sahara.

was happy to see this place re-open and went here to place an order in person. This was my third time getting food here and previous orders were placed online. I was aghast at the health violations I witnessed while waiting for my order yesterday. I watched one guy at the counter blow and wipe his nose vigorously, and without washing his hands, proceed to dip some lentil soup from a pot for a customer. Then, he goes to the register to receive payment from another customer, but not before wiping his nose again...and again without washing or sanitizing his hands. The woman at the counter was taking payments and opening people's food boxes to check for correct orders, while repeatedly touching her hair to get it out of her face. No one had on gloves, masks, or hair nets. Online, it states that masks are required, but this is not being enforced. Not once did I see anyone wash their hands or at the very least, use hand sanitizer. Even after months of being closed and in the midst of a pandemic, the staff at the establishment are not taking food safety seriously at all and it's disgusting. This warrants another shutdown. I will not be returning.

A Dearborn staple! The owner of this establishment not only prepares all the dishes but will personally greet and wait on you. I've ordered everything from single serve sandwiches, dinners to party platters for birthdays. Portions are huge, you'll definitely have more than one meal out of anything ordered. Some of our favorites are the chicken shawarma, kafta, deboned chicken, fattoush salad and fresh made bread.

AMAZING as usual!!The bread is hot and fresh!The garlic dip is soo creamy and succulent!The meat Sharma is the best in dearborn!!There is a reason we drive 2 hours to eat here!Sammy. NEVER disappoints.
