Looking forward to competition. Someone in their 70s shouldn't have to wait in a hours line to get served.
Ridiculous! Get staff to move the line, close, or wait for folk to get fed up"¦.or wait for the competition coming.

Motor City has gone done since Covid. The prices are too high, most of the time they don't have the smothered pork chops ready and staff is not as plesant.

They have great food but they can change the cornbread to buttermilk cornbread it always crumbles up when you split it & put butter in between. Or use Jiffey sweet cornbread. 😆😂

I've been there several times...the food has been delicious every time....its worth the wait..if lines seem long.
The staff is friendly and Efficient.
If you try it...you will like it.

I have been trying for several days to contact this restaurant. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! We are traveling to Detroit from Washington state and wanted to know what day of the week a particular menu item is sold. Apparently, we WILL NOT be visiting the restaurant. The Yelp reviews are understandable. Very disappointed.
I have been a business owner for more than 20 years and this is unacceptable.
