I have visited the original Sweetwater location in downtown, where they offered sit-down dining, but now they have various express locations. The Sweetwater Express we visited only accepts takeout orders, with no option for dining in. When we arrived, there were no physical menus available, so we checked the menu online and placed our order with the friendly window clerk. The restaurant was quite warm inside, so we opted to wait in the car until our food was ready, which didn't take long. My burger came with all the expected toppings plus cheese and bacon, and the toasted buttered bun was a nice touch. The freshly made burger and seasoned fries were delicious, and I appreciate the convenience of their lunch special that includes wings, fries, and a drink. The wings had a spicy glaze that I enjoyed, even though they were too hot for my husband's taste. Overall, it's a spot I always make sure to visit when I'm back in town.
