The steamed salmon and fries, along with the option to add corn and broccoli, are some of the best I've encountered. The fried oyster dinners can be prepared with your choice of batter, and the Buffalo fish is also a highlight. The establishment is clean, well-lit, and offers friendly service, making it a pleasant place to enjoy consistently good food at reasonable prices.

The prepared food is delicious and a nice variety of fresh seafood. Including crab claws. BUT!
Customer service is pitiful. I began calling for a carryout while leaving Belle Isle. Called when Downtown. Called while on the Lodge Fwy, from 96, the Southfield freeway and on the service drive. 8 damn times! 2 answers and put on hold, 3 mailbox full messages and 3 no answers.
My brother went in to order and then I entered. So I asked the young man; "How many times would he call a restaurant to place an order before he said "f-ck it'?! He acted as if he didn't understand, so I repeated the question 2 more times. I explained that from Belle Isle to this spot is 18 miles and about 30 minutes. "GET IT TOGETHER!" because his demeanor, the woman on the phone and the way they yell back and forth is ridiculous.
