The food was delicious and a fantastic value, with the General Tso dinner combo, cream cheese wontons, and ample portions making it clear why everyone raves about this Chinese restaurant, despite my personal preference against fried rice.

Bad is the only word that comes to mind. Went inside and what a weird feeling that was. Smelled like mouse poop and was very very strange. Order at the counter had to ask two times for water , duck sauce and a fork. Food was so bad no taste what so ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I've been eating at Beijing for over 25 years. I watched the owner's kids grow up- from toddlers to adults. For years the food was awesome- fresh, cooked to perfection and cheap. I went there on Sunday and could not believe how bad it was. The food tasted old, the rice was super bland, and the spices were off. I wonder if the owners still work there- my guess is no. Perhaps their daughter took over? At any rate, if they don't improve, I would be surprised if they are still open in a year.

Have ordered delivery twice and both time I'm not getting our egg rolls. They charge for them ! The food was a lot better at there old location. There great people and always treat use right. They just can't get the order right. We will give them one more try.

I used to go to the old Beijing and the food was much better. The food quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. The Ginger Chicken has too much breading on it now. The Pork LO Mein had a funky spice in it now that was not enjoyable to me to eat. I think my business will go to Cantonese House on 1st street. They have the best Egg Rolls in town too.

The best, fastest, and most reasonably priced chinese food in town! I'm so glad that Beijing isn't re-locating the way many people thought they were, due to CVS buying out the block. This restaurant is a small hole in the wall, but serves up the tastiest Asian cuisine ever! The service is friendly in person, delivery is o.k., take-out is great, eating in is awesome, prices are very affordable, but I wish parking were better. So, despite delivery and parking if your on a budget, and want fast and authentic Chinese this restaurant rocks!!

Note: This restaurant takes cash or checks, not credit cards, at least that has been there policy, so make sure you have money on you when you come. I have been buying take out and delivery from Beijing for 25+ years, top notch Chinese food. As others have said, this is not a yuppy high priced restaurant-- walk into the restaurant and it feels more like a cafe, simple, chinese chefs cooking over hot stoves talking chinese. Free hot tea while you wait. Dine in, take out, or call for delivery. I like the egg drop soup, pork fried rice, spicy beef broccoli, seafood medley, but they can make just about anything you want (even if not on the menu), have a large menu.

Ignore that bad review below. The staff and chefs at Beijing Restaurant aim to please, and the food -- for its niche -- is always top-notch. Delivery is friendly and quick.
For a thrill, go watch the staff cook on those 1000-degree blowtorches they use in Chinese restaurants. While there, hang out and make an effort to get to know some people who don't speak English, but can cook you upside the head any day.

Great job! Love the food and love the prices. Best chinese food in town!

This place is legit, it's small and not the best looking but I always get delivery anyways. They have never messed up an order and everything is always cooked AFTER you order it! Steaming hot meal and at about 8 dollars for 1.5 meals worth this is the bet Chinese food style restaurant I have been to. I recommend it to all my family and friends and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a lot of food for cheap!

Nice food and very typical of an American Chinese restaurant. This is *not* one of those 'haute cuisine' Asian fusion $20 / entree places. It is a plain old, messy Chinese take-out restaurant that puts out large orders for minimum $.

restaurant, this is not a chinese food resturant at all. And the service here is so terrible. Never deliver right! so rude manager!
