This Chinese restaurant is our regular choice for takeout, as they offer delivery service which is convenient for us. The owner, who often delivers the food herself, is always friendly and remembers us, providing excellent customer service. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions at reasonable prices, making it a great option for a satisfying meal in Duluth.

the quality of the food seems to depend on what day you go there. I have been there with friends several times lately because it is conveniently located. some food is great. some is awful. my take out has not been right one time. the carton says fried rice but it is egg foo young. no veggies in the veggie lo mien. etc. can't recommend.

my friends and I ate there and had a fabulous meal. lots of big crispy veggies and tender chicken in all our orders. I called my hubby and told him how great it was and he had me bring him home some. got home and was shocked. it looked like it came from a different resteraunt. no chicken in my chicken lo mein and gone were the nice big hunks of veggies. his wasn't any better. lesson is check your order before you go.

We order all the time. Great hunan beef, kung pao chicken, egg foo young. Love their food. Love the owner lady. Great wait staff too.

I'm rating one meal my mom and I had there the other day. I had the Chicken Lo Mein and my mom had the Shrimp Lo Mein.
It was HORRIBLE!! All it was was angel hair pasta, probably made ahead of time and warmed in the oven before serving. It was tasteless, dry, and the chicken slices in it was also tasteless. My mom's was the same, and her shrimp were tasteless also. They give such large servings, which is great, but if you don't like what you ordered, whats the sense of taking it home. Waste of 9 dollars.
It was definitely NOT Lo Mein noodles.

Love, love, love this place! The first time I had it I was hooked and haven't gone anywhere else! Highly recommended!

China Star is very respectfully priced and you get very nice sized portions when you order for delivery. The only problem I had with them is they will only deliver for a 3 mile radius and I happen to live past that. Besides that I would recommend them to any Chinese food lover like myself!
