I always dine in the lounge side and enjoy checking out the lunch specials. My favorite is the prime rib sandwich and the beer cheese soup, though I wish the sandwich was a bit bigger. The view is unbeatable, and I love stopping by the castle for a drink on the way to Silver Bay. The charming little castle by Lake Superior always has an interesting weather pattern whenever I visit, and the sparsely decorated lounge offers a great view with the company of a crotchety yet charming old lady serving drinks.
