WASTE OF MONEY! TERRIBLE, BLAND FOOD!
My 3 sons & I went there for dinner on Mother's Day, BAD IDEA!!!!!!
My 2 oldest sons and I drove to Eau Claire from Hudson to visit my 3rd (youngest) son who attends college there so we could all be together and enjoy the day.
Not being familiar with Eau Claire, I picked the place after reading several positive reviews, only to realize that I should have paid much less attention to the "5 STAR FOOLS" who apparently don't have any taste buds or expectations, and should have given a hell of a lot more attention to the "1 STAR WARNINGS!!!".

TO THE 5-STAR FOOLS: If this place is the best Mexican place in Eau Claire, I pity you.
The portions were small, service was poor, the plain margarita's were obviously made with some cheap bottled mix that tasted medicinal. I had to go to the bar to get slices of lime to add to mine (vain attempt to kill the medicine taste ~didn't work).

We ordered some guacamole to go with our chips, $4.99 for a small dish, and it was about as exciting as a bowl of cream of wheat without salt. After the first bite, I dumped some salsa into it and asked one of my son's to pass me the salt shaker. Should I have to "fix" it?? When our meals arrived, I ate my mushy, bland, disappointing meal without saying anything (oh well, it's Mother's Day, I don't want to embarrass them by complaining, and feeling bad because I picked the place)...until one of my sons spoke up at the table and announced how nasty his meal was. The rest of us agreed with him, because we felt the same.
Thanks for a terrible dining experience, on a rare day when I get to spend time with all my sons. If it weren't for them being there, I'd have given you a (-2.)
DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS TERRIBLE EXCUSE FOR MEXICAN FOOD! BUY YOURSELF SOME CREAM OF WHEAT INSTEAD!! IT'S FLAVORLESS, CHEAPER AND IT WILL FILL YOU UP!!!
