The pizza is consistently delicious, and I've enjoyed every dish I've tried from the extensive menu. Although the drive is long, I find myself returning occasionally, especially for the prime rib and chicken souvlaki. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it suitable for both work lunches and casual dinners, and the service has always been friendly.

It saddens me to write this review as we've always had decent experiences over the years, however it must be made known that at least half of our group of 16 people suffered from food poisoning after eating here on Friday January 17th 2025, sending one to hospital. It was those who had the prime rib or the steak. There must be something amiss with the food storage, handling, or preparation.
Although the service staff are amazing and should be commended, we will not be returning to this restaurant ever again as it is too risky.

Just to let you know , we had a pretty good meal today at Zambellis. But I thought I'd warn you in checking out you will have to deal with the manager at the till. A lady upon entering the restaurant requested where the rest rooms were.Her party was told to get back in line and felt very disrespected. When I used my credit card to pay my bill It was denied for whatever reason even though I used it hours before . The manager at the till displayed the same disrespect shown earlier . The situation was traumatic enough for my wife to forget her code for her card. I simply paid by cash and the situation was over. Or was it? HELL no , I found the excuse by visa for the problem and decided to let the manager know how unacceptable our treatment was. I found out very quickly that it was the manager that was the person disrespecting everyone . I advised him of my concerns and was told that you want to fire me go ahead and fire me. I think he was probably the owner too. The food was great, the waitresses were great, but the management ruined our 48th wedding anniversary .

I read the reviews, figured at good location for a steak or prime rib. Close to my hotel. I was severely disappointed. The garden salad was tough, poorly made. The Prime Rib was mostly fat, cold, and so tough I hardly could eat it. I decided to give a report to the manager/owner. He got angry and would not really discuss. I WOULD AVOID.

We attended your restaurant on Saturday the 3rd of september. We found the food to be well balanced and prepared excellently. The food was delicious and our server (a very polite and diligent young man) was very attentive. We shall be back again .

I did not even receive my prime rib by the time our groups meal was finished as the waitress had not put the order in. As we left, the owner could be heard yelling at her. The owner refused to remove the prime rib from the bill. Stay far away from this place

I must admit I've been a very big fan of this restaurant for a number of years yesterday was the last time I'll ever support this establishment myself my spouse my daughter and my three grandchildren of one is which one year old went for a small dinner our tab was $78 service was relatively efficient food was great until we got the bill administering a 15% gratuity automatic because we had six people three of which were children under the age of 10 since when do you start charging to bring a family in Corbin was very tough on these establishments I truly believe in supporting small business but this is where I draw the line I will not pay $13 plus GST on a tab to come in and support your business I wish you the best of luck will never walk in your door again and I'll let people know

Long rant, sorry.
Hubby and I went to Zambelli's Stony Plain Road this evening to celebrate our anniversary. Boy was that a mistake! We've been frequenting this restaurant for at least 20 years. We've recommended it to family and friends. No longer.
Strike 1: table of 6 came in about 5 minutes after we had placed our order. They were served first.
Strike 2: Our dinners arrived ( prime rib for him, steak and lobster for me), cold. We sent them back.
Strike 3: medium rare steak for me arrives blue rare. I personally took it back to the kitchen (I NEVER do that!) and the owner/pizza man had the audacity to tell me it was medium rare! I almost threw it at him but restrained myself. I did reorder.
Strike 4: waited 30 minutes for my meal. Steak medium well and lobster tougher than the steak. I did eat it. I wanted steak and lobster.🤣
Strike 5: ordered coffee was told " it's on us". It was on the bill.
Strike 6: at the till I told the manager an apology should have been forthcoming. He shrugged his shoulders at me. I said we wouldn't be back. He said that was my decision. " Come back, don't come back" and again shrugged his shoulders. You would think with just reopening to dine-in service Zambelli's owners would want to keep business. Granted he won't go broke without our $100 but if others experience the same shoddy service it may make a difference. The waitress was great but her hands were tied by these ignorant owners. We were NOT looking for a free meal. We were NOT looking for our drinks to be comped. A lovely evening would have been nice. An apology by owner/management would have been appropriate.

We have been going to zambellis for years always good food but what they are doing now is very disappointing we came in with 6 people we ordered and got our food witch was over cooked and not good then came the bill I had the steak and crab witch before was $53.00 now it's $85.00 and was not told of the increase plus I had a ice tea before refills were free now it's $4.50 each and on top of all that we were charged 18% gratuity on the bill because we had 6 people again not told this apon our arrival or told when we made a reservation.now I can understand price increases due to the situation happening and I'm ok with that but to hammer you when they bring the bill is wrong and I believe it's up to me to tip based apon the service I get and the service was terrible took a couple of times to get a drink and things we need and when we went to pay we were yelled at by 3 waiteress as we were trying to discuss the bill had to get the owner to figure things out while we were talking to the owner the 3 ladies were still yelling at us and one said to my wife you people are the type of costumer we don't want to come back we'll lady you got your wish it's sad that we go out and support local businesses and this is how your treated

All our family celebrations take place at this establishment. It has the best prices , best selection, best atmosphere, best service and a wonderful owner and staff. We have been going to Zambellis before our son was born ..who is now 28 years old . Back when they were located at Bourbon Street in West Edmonton Mall. The service and food has not changed in quality . They have THE BEST MEALS IN EDMONTON let alone in Alberta in my opinion. We took our friend from The Pittsburgh Penguins there and he couldn't say enough about his meal . He loved it and wasn't shy about sharing his rating the next day in the locker room. Every year he comes back to Edmonton , that's where he wants to eat. All our family members meet up for occasions and will do so until they are no longer around.
