One of the top dining spots in Goshen with a diverse menu to choose from. The breakfast and lunch options are satisfying and reasonably priced with a clean atmosphere. The service is friendly, the portions are generous, and the food is consistently delicious.

We have eaten here often and have always been very satisfied with the food and the servers. Now we hear they are offering free food to the kiddies while school is shut down, to make sure the kiddies eat well. What an honorable thing to do. Now we will be stopping in every time we get back in the area.

We have been to Lux Cafe on a number of occasions, and have always enjoyed good meals at fair prices, and generally excellent service. Our experience today (12/3/17) was mixed. On the plus side, the service was, as usual, excellent. However, the food quality left much to be desired. Two in our party ordered French toast. One service was fine, but the other was brought out cold. My order was the Irish omelet. Either this item, or the person who prepared it, should be removed from this restaurant. This was the worst omelet I've ever had. It was overcooked and had no flavor at all. Fortunately, the rye toast I ordered with it was good, and about the only part of the meal that was actually edible.

I really enjoy the food at Lux and have enjoyed many visits there but I was very disappointed when I took a group of people to the restaurant and was charged extra money just for the space alone. I thought I was doing the place a favor by bringing so many people to eat a meal on a day which usually is not full. I have never been charged for having a group at any restaurant before. Lux will now be the last place I look to eat. It is very sad to me.

It is a very nice place, fast frendily service! Prices were a bit higher than I expected but DUE TO THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE VERY TASTY FOOD... IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!

I've eaten here many times, usually for breakfast as I personally find their breakfasts better than their dinners. Service is always excellent in either case. I usually get the Lux Sampler for breakfast and that's always more than enough food. One thing to remember when ordering breakfast here is that you always get twice the eggs you order. If you order two you'll get four. I think this is mainly because they use either small or medium eggs. The waitresses are always pleasant and the food is prepared and delivered to your table very quickly.
This is indeed owned by the same people who own Callahan's in Elkhart.

The Lux I believe is owned by the same people that own Callahan's in Elkhart...I don't really eat Lunch or Dinner here so I cant really rate that section of menu but Breakfast in my opinion is top notch there as it is with Callahan's. They make awesome omelette's. Really big omelette's that come with hash browns & your choice of toast or pancakes. The portion size is so big that I usually split mine with a dinning partner. Price for two people ordering two omelette's breakfast meals with coffee would be around $17 to $18 minus tip, so asking for two plates & sharing the meal will get you by pretty cheap & is really closer to the proper portion size one should consume anyway. But anyway , this is a good restaurant, I wish Goshen had a few more like this.
