All the food at this restaurant is freshly prepared, including the mashed potatoes, and I have consistently enjoyed every meal without any disappointments. The generous portion sizes and homemade desserts add to the overall appeal of dining here, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that supports the local community.

The fish is so yummy & I don't really care for fish but we have eaten at sugar & spice even before they opened in Waterford. The lady that open it was one heck of a cook & we loved her very much & always will but her son is just as good. The staff is absolutely awesome.

The food is good , the wait staff is always polite and friendly . The decor needs an upgrade and a fresh look would put it over the top . They give you enough food which is really appreciated as its leftovers for lunch the following day . It's one of the better places to eat and have been there many times ., never been disappointed here . I would say go and dine at Kelly's it's a good place to dine .

First of all, this is a down-home cooking kind of place. They offer Early Bird Specials before 4pm. Everything that I have ever had from this redtaurant has been excellent--save for the sweet potato fries but that's because I don't like sweet potatoes! The portions are huge for the price. The wait staff, if you go there often, will remember you and your family. They are accomodating for children, seniors, and special needs. They do take reservations, so special occasions, large parties, and especially Fish Fry Fridays... make a reservation! If you go on a Friday, get there before 4pm because it's their busiest day by far. For holidays... Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, etc you need a reservation and they will offer a limited menu of favorites. The quality of the food is wonderful, especially if you enjoy comfort food or home-cooking. They serve real mashed potatoes, and their coconut cream pie is my favorite! The decor is country, quilts are on display everywhere and they offer a selection of locally made crafts. They close for a few-month hiatus usually Jan thru March during winter months due to the weather. Excellent food, environment, and value for the quality and portion size. Favorites include their Roast Beef platter, Combination Seafood Platter, and their ham steaks are great! Enjoy!

Upon reading these last 3 reviews I had a bad experience there on 11/ 21/ 12..Went in for lunch which was not good to say the least and then we ordered pie and what a disappointment when the waitress brought it out and it was runny. My friend told the waitress it wasnt good and she said she was sorry. Went to pay the bill for food we didnt eat and the lady at the cash register asked how the food was and we said lousy and she didnt say a word ! wouldnt you think she would of refunded our money or part of it??? Never again !!! The cook must of been on vacation !!

The service was great and the food was so good. Just like mom use to make. Serving size is huge if you leave hungry it will be your own fault. Great pies! Stop in for some down home cooking!!!

There was a slight mix up on our reservations on Valentine's Day, but the staff corrected it quickly. The meal was absolutely excellent and the service wonderful as usual. This is a dining experience.
