Extremely fresh and tasted great. Love to support a local place and hope they are making it through Covid.
Prices have gone up a couple of bucks since the pic on this site as of Jan 2021.

We've tried The Pump twice now. We're from out of town. We loved the food, the atmosphere, the menu and the friendly service. The first time we went, I asked about recommendations and the server was all personality. He went into the items on the menu and the most popular items. I ordered the smoked salmon cream cheese filled omelet. WOW. I loved that. My husband is crazy about their biscuits and gravy. I had a veggie-type omelet the next visit and it was wonderful. We had to take a box both times, portions are large. It's always great to have an enjoyable go-to place when you're from out of town. Thanks Pump.
Five stars from us.

I went with a large group {14} for breakfast on a Monday morning. For the most part the food was very good. BUT don't order the potato pancakes...It sounded great from the menu description. But nothing on the plate resembled a pancake. It looked like a frozen hashbrown patty, fried with scrambled eggs on top. ( Potato pancakes are made with mashed pototoes). The eggs were fine, but I left the hashbrown patty! Ugh! Also the oatmeal was not as tastey as in the past.

The Pump Cafe was recommended to us, so we decided to try it. The initial service was great - the greeter was friendly. Once we sat down our order was taken promptly. We received our coffee and hot chocolate right away. Then nothing for probably 20 minutes. We finally flagged down another waitress to give us more coffee. Finally even another waitress brought our food. It was luke warm. We were almost done eating before OUR waitress finally came and asked how everything was. We said everything was fine because we are polite people and didn't want to cause a scene. Needless to say, we won't be back.
