I am visiting Portsmouth VA for my son's college soccer game and decided to try the battered cod at this restaurant. The crispy texture and delicious flavor of the cod exceeded my expectations, making it a standout dish on the menu. The baked beans had a wonderful smoky taste, and the coleslaw added a perfect touch of sweetness to the meal. Overall, the experience was delightful, and I would definitely consider returning in the future.

I loved the batter dipped cod with malt vinegar. This is the place I miss the most since we left Fayetteville.

greasy (pre-frozen) french fries NOT chips. Chips are supposed to be flat and NOT greasy. Even the fish is dripping with oil. Awful. I've been to England and had fish & chips from dozens of food courts and this place is in no way close to English fish & chips but just american french fries posing as English chips. H.Salt fish & chips used to be there and their product was great, now it is terrible.
