If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This place treats their customers like garbage. We were excited to try it out for the first time. We walked in and the snotty hostess said "hi" and nothing more. I kindly asked for a table or two (since she didn't ask) and she brought us to an unsavory, small table. Since the restaurant was almost empty, we asked for a different table. She then threw (literally threw) our menus on a booth and stormed off, without saying anything. The other patrons even noticed how rude she was and commented on her behavior. The server was also rude, as we tried to ask questions about the menu. He responded in short yes or no answers. We decided that the staff made us feel unwelcome and because of their rude demeanor, we didn't want to stick around for dinner. We drank our beverages, paid our bill and asked to cancel our dinner order. The server did not ask any questions or seem surprised by our request to cancel our order. (Keep in mind- I have never done this before). Almost like this happens all the time. When we left, I let the hostess know that I hoped she had a better night than the way we were treated. She mumbled something nasty under her breath and then laughed in our faces. Needless to say, we will never be back. Not sure how long this empty restaurant will be open if they treat their customers like this. I worked in food service for almost a dozen years and can't imagine treating my customers like this. If you need a good recommendation, we went to Hiro's Sushi. It was delicious, affordable and they treated us kindly. Don't waste your time at the Flagstaff Grimaldi's.
