Upon our visit to a quaint, aged residence converted into a dining establishment, we found the cuisine to be quite satisfying. However, the atmosphere was marred by an individual, who I believe to be the owner, exhibiting signs of severe stress. Their negative demeanor was palpable, and their interactions with patrons were far from cordial.

From the way she walked, wiped tables and seated guests without able to even fake a smile, her negative energy could be felt from a mile away.

We were a party of four, including an infant in a car seat, and were graciously provided with toys to entertain the children. The children were seated and engaging in play, not causing disruption or roaming about. Despite their behavior, the owner saw it fitting to reprimand them for "screaming". She positioned herself merely two feet from their faces, emphatically uttering "shhh" for approximately twenty-five seconds, thereby creating a spectacle and discomfort amongst the other patrons. The adults in the establishment were engaged in conversation at a louder decibel than the children, yet the room fell silent upon hearing her admonition. Following her departure, the general sentiment amongst the patrons was one of shock and disapproval towards the owner's behavior.

Subsequently, we were pressured to vacate our table, by her snatching the toys from the children and insisted on seating another party. This occurred a mere twenty-five minutes after our arrival.

Upon our departure, i communicated our grievances to the woman, who defended her actions by claiming the children were disruptive. This was not the case, as the children were well-behaved and not causing a disturbance.

Should one seek a welcoming, amicable environment, I would recommend exploring alternative dining options. There are, indeed, many other establishments that offer a more pleasant dining experience than this particular, compact residence with its discontented proprietor.

My favorite restaurant in the Sarasota area, and among the best breakfasts I've ever had! Their pancakes are to die for--their "Island Cakes" maybe being the best of all. Absolutely sublime! Love their Crí¨me Brí»lí©e French toast as well. I've never gotten around to trying their lunch menu as I'm so infatuated with their breakfasts!

Amazing breakfast experience. Warm, personable, customer service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious.Do yourself and your family a favor and stop by, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely horrible experience. Rude, lying management.
Will argue with you about their mistake instead of making it right.
Gossiping and complaining workers.
Gross establishment, Ive overheard that the cleanliness of the back is not up to par (EW!!!)
Their porch greeters make snarky, judgemental comments regarding their patrons and tourists.
They rush you out to turn tables.
Food is OK, but over priced.
absolutely no customer service skills.

We were a family of 8 that went to the Breakfast House after Mass at Incarnation Church for Easter Sunday Mass. it was also MY BIRTHDAY!! The brunch was excellent!! My grandsons enjoyed their pancakes. Mimosas were so good! My spinach omelet was superb. No one complained about their meal. The portions were large and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back!!!!!!

We were really looking forward to eating here and heard good things but from the very start it was a very bad experience. From checking in at front table on porch and listening to staff and manager/possibly owner negative conversations, to being served food that had very poor presentation - not to mention it was not good. Disappointing experience all around!!!

I don't get the negative reviews. We absolutely love this restaurant. Feels so homey like a bread and breakfast. Well really a bed and breakfast but the bread we ate there was so good I decided to write bread. One of my favorite places to spend the weekend morning.

My husband and I had breakfast there on December 18th The toast was cold and limp and the bacon was like leather. The final straw came when my husband asked to substitute the potatoes for tomatoes because of his diet requirements. They did the 'substitution' but added a surcharge of $3.38 for 2 slices of tomatoes. It's left such a bad taste in our mouths that we'll never go back. We complained at the time but got no satisfaction.

We went out of our way to visit but when we got there, they only had a sign telling us to sign in and wait. Ten minutes later, nobody comes by and you're left feeling like you're at a doctor's office with the sign replacing a dismissive receptionist. Nobody every acknowledged us, and we left without any service.

Cute little place. Food was ok. They charge for sharing a meal (while I know most places say they do they don't actually). But, our table was asked to leave because they needed out table. I was visiting with a friend who was in town for the weekend-I have never been asked to leave.
I won't go back again. And the hostess was RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!
