The crabs could be a little cleaner but are very tasty, and a little expensive for what you get with all that said has a good menu and the fish is fresh to my taste will continue to eat at this establishment

The blue crabs had no meat, just full of water. They were "whiteys" which the restaurant should NOT have served. Very overpriced for empty blue crabs. The coconut shaped are off a truck, NOT FRESH. And the owner is very rude.

The blue crabs were empty except for water. Too expensive for subpar seafood. Definitely there are much fresher seafood choices.

Coconut shrimp were overcooked and not fresh. The blue crabs had little meat. Having eaten many delicious heavy crabs in MD and VA, I can say these did not compare. Such a shame.

Great Food, fresh, tasty, and delicious!!! The restaurant was very clean, the water is to drink is ice cold. The only two problems is first you have to wait a longer than you should for a menu. It takes long to get your meal at lunch time if you order a full meal instead of a sandwich, or just some soup, or a appetizer. The service afterwards is g
Very good until you need to pay. In all I would highly recommend that you try their place for a remarkable experience in enjoying some of the best sea food that you every had. Be sure to try the hush-puppies with a dach of hot sauce...

My husband and I were traveling through Crystal River yesterday, craving seafood, of course! We searched online for a restaurant with good reviews. The Crab Plant looked like it was worth a try. We are both native Floridians and take our seafood very seriously! I am a connoisseur of fried blue crab fingers (cocktail claws) which are not a common menu item, I jump at any chance to order them. Until last night, the best I had ever eaten had been at a place called Wolf Bay Lodge in Foley AL many years ago. The Crab Plant did not disappoint! The "appetizer" portion is huge and the tenderness is incredible. We also ordered fried oysters (my husband's fav) and fried shrimp which were perfectly prepared and delicious as well. Also check out their market!
We will be back very soon! Well worth an hour and fifteen minute drive!
