I have been coming to this establishment for many years. So have all of my fellow BCC/ EFSC students after classes and exams. However, the bartender was very deceptive and lied, then when asked about it, lied with an entire table present. I proceeded to still pay the bill despite her misleading "free train shots".
I asked to speak with a manager just so she understood what her employees were doing. Manager was so dismissive, rude, and would not allow me to talk. In fact, kept interrupting me and saying she saw the video (no sound present)and would give me a gift card.
Manager also stated that she had already watched the video tape (which if bill was paid and the patron had yet to say anything"¦ why would the bartender run to manager to see video"¦ to cover her lie!). I'm sorry to say before this, I loved this place prior to this event. I will be spreading the word throughout the college community and I'm sorry your establishment lost so many patrons based on an employee willing to compromise an establishment and a manager more willing to cover the lie with a gift card than actually speak to the patron.
