I have been going to Wasabi Grill since it first opened on Cortez in Brooksville. I have never had a bad meal or been disappointed in the food or service. There Sushi is extremely fresh and their sashimi some of the best I have ever tasted both in Flavor and in portion size.
Both my husband and nephew spent time in Japan and at two different occasions both commented this sushi and sashimi were as good as what they ate in Japan.
If you haven't tried it you are missing out. If you have tried it you know what I am talking about. My family and I go as often as we can.

DO NOT DINE IN OR TAKE OUT ON WEEKEND NIGHTS OR ANY SEEMINGLY BUSY TIME. THE CHEF, STAFF, AND OWNER CANNOT OPERATE EFFICIENTLY WHEN THERE ARE MORE THAN A FEW TABLES OF PEOPLE TO SERVE. FOOD ISNT PREPARED WELL AND WAITS FOR FOOD TO ARRIVE WILL END UP BEING AN HOUR EVEN WHEN YOU ARE TOLD 20 MINUTES! I have been going to Wasabi once a week for the past few months and have had no problems with the food. Sushi is fresh and tasty, prices are great, but the service has never been spectacular. This friday night when I ordered my standard 7 rolls for the family with brown rice, i was told 20 minutes....1 hour later my sushi rolls were covered with clumpy hard brown rice pieces and were falling apart. When I called the owners reply was "chef said rice was done so can't be". WOW! And that being said after he knew he had made me wait longer then expected and aware of my regular business. I WILL NOT BE BACK AND DO NOT RECOMMEND WASABI!
