We loved this place! We were all over Florida and this is the only place with this atmosphere and food. It was delicious and service was great. We also pulled our jet skis up and can walk right it. Hidden from the road. Hidden gem and must try!!!’

Although the atmosphere was nice, the food and service absolutely terrible. The food is overpriced and not very good. They charge extra for sides and drinks from the bar are ridiculously overpriced. We asked for avocado on our sandwich and it was brought out after we finished eating. This will be the first and last time we ever eat here.

I just didn't enjoy the experience. Lots of tension in the place, it seemed like. Saw the Manager or Owner yelling at a staff member off to the side. Not worth going back.

Don’t dine here! She withholds pay from former employees during this pandemic. Tells them it’s not a big deal and to go on “unemployment or whatever†HORRIBLE!

It’s a shame that the owner thinks so lowly of her employees that she made a video essentially telling them they weren’t sure when they would get paid because the restaurant bought too much product — oops. Not the employees fault they worked, give them their money. Will likely not be back to The Getaway unless something is done to correct this payment situation with their workers.

Not impressed at all. Owner looked as though she was doing her Customers a favor by being there, and she treats her Staff like garbage. Over-priced as well.

Are you serious? What I just saw that you posted online is literally the reason I hope your business fails and you go out of business and I hope none of your employees return. I will NEVER dine there and will make sure all my friends and family in the area see this and never done there either. Your employees deserve so much better! Scum!
