The steak quesadillas and onion rings at this restaurant were absolutely delicious, a real treat that you rarely find elsewhere. I found the Friday fish fry to be particularly exceptional, a must-try for anyone visiting. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owner and staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Seated us quickly, took our order and delivered it in a very timely matter. Kept the coffee coming. These people don't believe in portion control,LOL. Great service and super portions? Thank you, we will be back.

We just came back from this restaurant to have breakfast, it was somewhat crowded ,but we were seated and had our order taken in the expected amount of time.
AII downhill from here!
We waited for our food for about 45 minutes. We asked the waitress to check our order twice. The first time she said it will be coming out shortly, the second time ,did not come back at all. While we waited, we watched 3 different tables of people who were seated after us , get their food.
We got up and told the woman at the register how long we were waiting, An older woman came over to us and told us it could take up to an hour to get our food, depending on what we ordered! We ordered a pancake and some eggs, which we saw 2 tables getting, as well as a third table getting cheeseburgers!
She made no attempt to rectify the situation, arguing with us instead.
We just walked out .Real bad business communication and customer handling!
We will not be going back, and since we are from this area, neither will quite a few of the people we know.

Jam's is the absolute best local diner around! Their breakfasts are delicious and the portions are huge! They also have the best Reuben sandwich ever! They recently started serving dinner three nights a week and they also have al all you can eat fish fry every Friday. Very inviting atmosphere and the staff is great! It's always a pleasure to go there.

We have been loyal fans of Jams for as long as they have been open. But lately some things have changed. The breakfasts have been, for the most part, overcooked and dry. And it's baffling how they are unable to make toast. Every time we have gone to Jams for at least the last six months, the ""toast" has arrived as warm mushy bread. When I have sent it back, it invariable comes back burned. Seriously ---how difficult is it to toast bread ??
One other really annoying thing about Jams is the LOUD music. I have given up on asking the kitchen staff to turn it down. It never changes; every time we come back, the music is blaring once again.
I feel bad writing this, because we really like the Debbie (the owner) and her servers (especially Rose, out favorite server anywhere) and Barb, the cashier. I thought maybe it's just that we're too picky, so we tried the Mariner Family Restaurant this morning -- and everything was prepared PERFECTLY...and the music was appropriate in content and volume.
