On a quiet weeknight, I sought out some takeout from a new Chinese restaurant after my usual go-to spot had closed for the night. The decision turned out to be a pleasant surprise as the food arrived hot and bursting with delightful flavors, a rare combination of richness and lightness. What truly impressed me was the inclusion of fresh bean sprouts, a detail often overlooked in typical Chinese takeout.
