The food is very good. The wait staff friendly and helpful. A family owned restaurant. Emmy goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable.

I love miss Emily, this beautiful lady makes you feel like your family always comes around to say hi, and how your doing I love the food, prime rib is awesome! Started coming back in 2009-2010 I'll continue to come to Miss Emily's as long as the doors are open. Love you Miss Emilys!!!

One of our favorite places to eat. Food excellent "¼Service excellent 👍No reservation, but if you have a wait, there is also a fully stocked bar.
All meals come with your choice of 3 salads and you can have one or 2 or all 3. Then you are served in house made vegetable beef soup. Stock made with their famous prime rib. Prime rib is the speciality. You won't find bett anywhere"¼All their main forces are excellent. I never am a le to finish a meal. They happily box your leftovers to go. Some times they have red crout, which I happen to love. If they have it, no extra charge. Emmy and her Sister treat everyone like family.
This is a outstanding place 6eat. Now and then live music. If you local to DeLand Florida, you will probably run into some one you know.

Wow been going to emmy's For years. First steak come out burnt and well done . The sever took it back to have another prepared. The second one came out tuff. We paid for it but didn't Eat it. Emmy followed us out and told us not to bother coming back ever as we cost her money we paid for the steak. Don't have worry we won't be back. The table behind complained about their fish I wonder if they got told not to come back. They were told by the server that it's a different kind a grouper.

The best
German restaurant in the area...real true German food....plus the prime rib and pan fried grouper is awesome...add the price...plus the bread loaves...the soup...the German salad...the German potatoes..and the huge entree...plus the friendly service...and you have a wonderful experience...you will be back again...and again...it is real...go for it....

I have lived in Deland since 91 and this was my 1 st visit. omg, I would recommend this place to anyone. I met Emmy and she was very nice. Had a slip and fall but was getting around well with her cane. Our server was the best and I would go back in a heartbeat. In fact I had better do it before they close for vacation on July 4th.
