Possibly the worst food I've ever had. The slop the UK used to be notorious for. Luckily British cuisine has evolved. Sadly this dated throwback hasn't.

I have been working at the pub for 8 yrs now and never heard so much rubbish simply not true.We have been in business for 22yrs people who work here don't leave we barely get complaints and if a customer is not happy we will fix the problem and they do come back. Our food is homemade and made with pride, it doesn't get any better than that. I really don't know what pub you're talking about but it surely isn't the British open pub in bonita springs.

This place seemed ok initially but during my last visit there was an issue and they showed their true colors. Cocky managers and staff with a shut up and put up policy. Pretty sure it's an "all in the family" kind of establishment. From now on I will save my money for restaurants that value my custom.
British Open? Should be closed.

Grade F slop. As a person who has actually eaten in British pubs in the current century, this is reminiscent of the awful food the UK was known for decades ago. Plus your average UK pub employee doesn't have the attitide of the average spoiled American. If you have zero tastebuds, no teeth left and enjoy tacky decor this is absolutely the place for you!

First impression was this place was horribly out-dated. But then so are the clientele. Food was over cooked and greasy. Luckily most patrons are old, s*** faced and don't care.
If you want soggy food and zero charm this is the place for you! PS. The staff have some serious attitude. Enjoy!

Tried this restaurant but was tremendously disappointed. Try the pub in Naples! Better fish and chips, a clean, hygienic environment and zero attitude. This place is kind of a joke.

I find it somewhat hilarious that the only good reviews for this place come from the same woman (2 almost identical reviews - poorly written) and someone who claims to work there and is "dumbfounded". That should be the name of this establishment because they are correct. And clueless ...
Has anyone there even been to another restaurant since the 90's? Be glad you have your tacky locals eating up your uninspired offerings. And pray they never die ...

I am completely dumbfounded by these reviews. I have worked there for almost 5 years and one of the reasons I love it is because I never get complaints. Everyone loves the food and the staff who are hard-working and devoted employees. We have a very loyal group of as well as many newcomers on a regular basis. I always check on their experience as they leave and at least 99% rave about their experience.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant I've ever had the misfortune of stumbling across. Buy a sandwich and a bag of chips at the Publix behind it and go back to your hotel room. Seriously.

Fairly sure whomever owns this place has never set foot in a British pub. At least not for a VERY long time. Was hoping for cozy and comforting but got charmless and chaotic. Oh and lots of attitude. Food was blah too.

We just went for Sunday lunch. We are from Yorkshire, Uk. Their so called Yorkshire Puddings didn't even resemble what they should look or taste like!! The rest of the food was sloppy and tasteless. Not good value, poor service and nothing like proper British food! 😩

Wait staff is good and attentive. Food is mostly comfort food. Nothing outstanding. Beer selection is very good. British pub food that is very filling.Like British pubs all over the UK. Portions are large. Prices are reasonable. Where we go if we do not want to cook ourselves and just want a cheap meal and a good draft beer.

They VERY obviously don't much care about standard of hygiene - much less COVID. Food was pretty generic too. Honestly? It's probably better to get a fish sandwich at Burger King and save yourself $20 and a headache

Just had the worst experience at this restaurant. My order was wrong and they became abusive when I complained! Absolutely outrageous behaviour! Our waitress was nice though ... I hope she finds a better place to work.

Order was wrong and food was cold. When we complained, they sent out an angry "chef" who demanded his food back. No apologies or attempt to rectify. We just left. Shouldn't be in business.

Not sure what's going on at this place but it's going downhill - fast. Order was wrong, cold and the management and servers (all except one lady) were just plain rude. We were told three (3!!) times that "we don't care". Frankly I'm embarrassed to give it one star.

The hostess, Kathie, was extrodinarily rude. The restaurant was half full and we were not given a table for 4 because the other couple wasnt there so we went to the bar for 3 seconds and then were given the smallest table in the place because the others were spoken for even tho they stood empty for over 20 minutes. I wish the had a website so I could tell them how annoyed we were. We have been going to this pub since it opened and will never go again.

We love this place and everytime we go we are NEVER disappointed! All the servers are really nice and helpful and the food is GREAT! Hubby & I LOVE the chicken & mushroom pie! REALLY TASTEY!!!! Miss this place in the summer! Always our first place and last place on our winter stay.
