Hadn't been there for a long time and was disappointed that they don't bread the catfish with cornmeal now.
Otherwise great.

We went to Catfish Country Restaurant today. We called ahead, and even under the COVID-19 restrictions, we were able to get a table fairly quickly. Everything about the experience was 5 Star Plus.
The staff, including Stella, Amy, and especially our server, Makayla, plus the young woman greeting us at the entrance of the Restaurant (whose name I do not know) were absolutely customer friendly to the max.
The order was taken in a timely manner, and came out with perfect timing.
The portion sizes are very pleasing, and a bargain.
The taste of the meals we ordered were cooked to perfection, hot, and very tasty..
Given the restrictions placed on restaurants these days, it amazes me that we could have such a delightful dining experience. Other places we visit sincerely try to do their best, but Catfish Country exceeds expectations.
Anyone who eats here, in my humble opinion, will repeatedly return because of the people, the service, the food, and the atmosphere of the best family restaurant in Polk County. It really is worth the drive from Lakeland to Bartow, or anywhere to have such an experience of customer care.
