The new lobster BLT is a zesty, out of this world explosion of deliciousness.

I love their fried shrimp. They are always perfectly cooked, but not heavy on seasoning. And their smoked fish dip that served with rings of jalapenos...soooooo good, and not FISHY-tasting. My friend had tye shrimp and pasta and said it was delicious. They do get very busy in the evening. The last time I went there, they were so busy I couldn't even place a to go order of fish dip.

My Wife took me to chuck's Saturday 7/24/21 for my birthday with a party of 10, 3 of which were Children as young as 3. 1st we were told 1 Hour. After more than 1 hour later my wife checked with the hostess and was told we don't have your name. my wife name starts with a J but had her as (Ted). My wife asked can you change the name to the proper name? NO we know who you are. My mother-in-law could not be there so she called Chuck's to take care you the charges but no reservation found under my wife's name.... After more than 1 hour we told 10mins, then 20 mins later told another 20 mins. After that 20 mins told again another 20 more mins. This went on for 2 1/2 Hours before we were seated with starving children at this point is almost 9:30PM. They had no care that we had young kids at all. staff very nonchalant to us the entire time. It was almost like you can leave if you don't like it. We received our meals after the restaurant was technically closed(10PM). When we were seated we were seated at 2 different tables with 3 or 4 tables in-between us and the waitress did not want to take our orders and try to give us to another server, But the other server was not having it. The server did ok but again walking away when talking to her acted like we were unconvincing her night. Happened to be manager by the door as we were leaving and of coarse he says hope everything was great.. HAHA so I let him know what happened. Didn't even care to hear what I was explaining to him. The managers great response was YEAH we were busy and turned away. if I could give negative stars I would. Not because of the issues but, because of the lack of care, consideration, and understanding that we had hungry children.

Same great shrimp BUT at much different, HIGHER prices. The warm rolls are gone cost $2.50 now. Hush puppies are gone they are on the appetizer menu but WOW $8.00 to split a $25 shrimp dinner that used to be $19 then $21 with your wife all within the last couple of months. Seems greedy to us especially when I asked for cocktail sauce and was given ketchup. Something is slipping here.

Fried Shrimp were not seasoned, and slightly overcooked. French fries were tough. There was one small hushpuppy about 1-1/2" diameter. Very disappointing compared to the last time I ate there. I think it's been about 3 years since I was there and I wonder if there was a change in ownership or management. This trip the food was nothing like before.
