Country Angels in Polk City is a charming little diner that surprises you with its warm atmosphere and delicious Southern comfort food. The friendly staff makes you feel right at home, and every meal I've had there has been both plentiful and satisfying.

excellent service by Ashland and food was especially good. Spaghetti sauce was
loaded with meat and the onion rings were huge, batter explosively light and really
good. Fish sandwich too large for one, but crispy and tasty. Nice salads. Rustic
but comfortable atmosphere in down to earth old Florida style eatery. Worth
the visit each time!

It's not fancy. It's country cooking in a "grandma's kitchen" setting. Outside is not a "glamour spot", inside is good stuff. I'd give it 5 stars for "good local spot".

Menu changes daily. Once I had their stuffed pepper soup, it was to die for, Every Friday is Catfish Nite and all you can eat for about $10. FANTASTIC
