We generally have had good experiences with this restaurant but also a few misses. We found it better when dining in. Ordered to go twice and both times the order was screwed up. The full size pastrami sandwich we paid for was a joke and only had half the meat.
Spotty but generally good with huge portions and good pricing.

Friends are coming to take me to dinner; so I called to determine f they still offer prime rib on Tuesday. First had to listen to recorded 'computer' to find out which button to push to talk to someone; then rude hostess asked me to hold. I said I just had a very quick question & she replied - rather nastily - that she had to put me on hold. Could have listened & answered question in that time. So, I hung up. Very bad impression. No professionalism. Reviews of 'terrible' outnumber just 'poor' - I wonder why? Have eaten there before & must say, was not very impressed with the food. But these friends mentioned going there & seem to want to, so I will just go along.

Got a table,ordered our drinks and the waitress never came back! Terrible service!

Unfortunately, the service as well as the food, has declined in quality. I think they need to sit down and decide how to change things around so that they get their customers back. Food is a big disappointment.

Very good food, portions are huge, Greek salad was amazing! Pot roast was excellent.

Very poor quality food......We ordered 2 pot roast dinners, meat was stringy and so dry, you could not chew it......the worst! Food was room temperature, and very salty, we had asked for bread, and she told us it would be $1.00 extra, bill was $36.00, and no bread, isn't the bread part of every dinner?? Will not go back, ever, and would not recommend. Lot of poor quality food piled on a plate, They give you a lot, because they can, it is cheap food !! Place is a turn-off ! STAY AWAY ! Waitress had a face on..........she so did not wat to be there.

Food is poor quality and service is worse. Tried to speak with the management and he was rude. They started out well several years ago, but not worth the drive or the money any more.

Our weekly get together with friends finds us at Pickles often. The variety of food offered is large, and it's hard to choose. The service is fine, have never had a bad server. The bakery is really tempting but we have to take our Eclairs or cake home because we are usually stuffed!

We were charged full price for hairy food. The manager Marc is a joke. I will never eat here again. It has gone terribly down hill.

Yesterday was the first time I went to this restaurant and both my husband and I agree we will never go back. The service was poor and the food was just ok. The pickle bar was a nice touch. Upon our arrival we were put in a side room (dungeon) off the main dining room where we were almost completely ignored. Our waiter would occasionly glance into the room never entering or bothering to take care of any of his customers. Another man came in and stated they were short handed and walked away. Upon leaving we saw a large number of people waiting to get in. I hope that they had a better dining experience.

I was visiting friends in ormond beach and we
decided to dine at pickles. I ordered the pork chops
and i cut into one and the meat was red. I sent the plate back 4 times and each time they did not cook
the pork chops properly. The final time I was told
that pork is served pink and they would cook it to my liking. By that time everyone had finished diner
and they put it in a to go box i left it there. i was sick that night and the next day. No compensation was offered and i would not go there again.

True about service you can stand at the bakery forever while people walk past you without helping you or seem to care, but food is great...

Food is delicious, fresh, and served quickly! Bakery items are to die for also. Closer attention to customers is a must for the servers. They spend alot of time chatting with each other and standing behind the counter.
