Delicious barbecue joint in Panacea area with a large menu offering meat-only options and take-home packages. The salads with pulled pork and pulled chicken were fantastic, as was the half-smoked chicken. The table sauces added a perfect touch of sweet heat to the meal.

We stopped by on our way down the coast and was pleasantly surprised by this BBQ restaurant! Our family loves BBQ but it's hit or miss. Hamaknockers was definitely worth the stop! The staff were so friendly and made our to go order within just a few minutes even though they were busy. The facilities were clean and the food was DELICIOUS. No complaints from my picky 4 children. If you're traveling this is a must stop for food!

I should have gone to Posey's. I ordered a carry out order. There was no plastic ware or napkins in the order. The pulled pork was room temperature at best. Baked beans were nicely warmed but they tasted like they were straight out of a can. Garlic bread was meh...(how hard is it to make decent garlic bread???) Pecan cobbler tasted OK but left a aftertaste like it had fake sugar in it. My kid only ate half of his grilled cheese and threw the rest of it away and asked for McDonald's. The brisket was nothing spectacular and was edible at best.

They have the best BBQ I have ever tasted! I absolutely LOVE there chicken wings.. smoked to perfection!! The atmosphere is great as well. Don't miss out on there awesome food!!!!

we have frequented Hamaknockers on several occasions - it is always hot and delicious - getting ready to head there now for carry out dinner - YUM - thank you for an awesome alternative to the Burgers in this town....

will not go back. i got a hamburger all the way and it came out with a small piece of wilted lettuce and a cold bun. the potato salad had way too much mustard. my husband got a steak sandwich that taste like it had been in the microwave and also my hamburger meat taste like it had been warmed in the microwave. for me and my husband was $22.00 for two sandwiches and drinks. this was a waste of money and time. we would have been better to have gone to burger king.
