Great food and drinks

We're sorry". That's all it would have taken to move this 1 star review to 4-5 stars.
The food was good. The setting very nice. They could have spaced out the seating arrangements for the COVID safety of the customers instead of keeping them all together for the ease of the wait staff. But, we were outside under a canopy so maybe they thought they didn't have to be so strict in spacing people out. We did ask to be moved once I realized the service was going to be slow. In these times of Covid we are trying to sit in a restaurant as little as possible. So it was especially infuriating when after asking for the status of our food (after 45 minutes) to be told "the ticket had fallen down" and was only now getting started. Now, for context we had asked to be moved and also split an entree so maybe we weren't the easiest customers. (We did get 2 appetizers, an entree and were looking forward to dessert). Once the delay was explained I then knew that how they handled the delay would reflect their commitment to customer service.
Not one apology. Not one "I'm sorry". Not one "can we comp you a dessert". Minimal tip, one star, we won't be back and the reviews go on Yelp and Google and anywhere else we can find.
