03/14/2022 - RUDE & PRETENTIOUS
We were loyal customers for 7 years - trick was, we never went "in season" over those years . We realize now that they have a serious aversion towards those they deem snow birds - non important people who aren't in town year long. We used to come in "off season" June-November and we were never ever ever treated badly. We know for sure that is the only difference between last week's experience and those of the last 7 years was the owner and staff's take on transient clientele - a real "take it or leave it" kind of of approach. It's always been THE most expensive place in the area and we were happy to pay because the food is fabulous - but being rude to us is never going to fly. Swearing them off hurts us too because we did really enjoy our meals there but we are not willing to be treated so rudely.
