01/12/2009 - Wendy
We accidentally found this restaurant while traveling from Ocala one day, and have been making up reasons to drive out there so we can eat at Sterlings! The first time, we had the mushroom appetizer, they were very delicious, beer served in frosted mug! We tried the mexican food on the menu, and were not expecting much, but we couldn't have been more pleased, The fresh salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo, really, there was a lot of thought in each item. The enchiladas, and chimichanga were really good. The portions were huge. We have tried the breakfasts, and the best everything, I can't name one item that is better than the next, as they are all great! The prices are extremely low, where can you get a breakfast for $3.95? The servers there are all happy and more than efficient, they get the job done, and make you feel like family! Overall, great place for home cooking and friendly service and truly affordable!
