Night. I kindly asked that they be steamed and ready for pickup between 3:30 -4PM on Friday, Xmas Eve. I had to leave my credit card info to reserve these and was sure to REPEAT AND REPEAT SEVERAL TIMES that my husband would pick them up around 3:30 and I expected them to be HOT!
Fast Forward to 2PM today - Xmas Eve. I receive a phone call from Ms. Cameron from Ward's. She informs me that the Lobsters are COLD and were ready for pickup at 8AM THIS MORNING!! First of all, who picks up a hot lobster at 8AM in the morning and I didn't even know they were open that early. I would not have gotten out of bed at 7AM to go pick up 2 lobsters to the tune of $150.00 to eat that evening! That makes no sense at all.
Seeing that my husband was already at Ward's he paid the $150.00 and she gave me instructions to 'warm them up in the oven". Well, we decided at 4:30 to just eat them cold. Now the lobsters were dripping black, watery bile. And, when we pulled the tails off waiting for the Tamale Delicacy awaiting us - it was pure dark, forest green and it smelled!. The meat was so watery and soggy that I just knew they cooked these lobsters 24 hours or more ago and had them in the fridge. Disgusting shells that actually bent between our fingers. Seriously? Are not lobster shells supposedly hard and to be cracked with a mallet or nut cracker? They were disgusting; and, after eating one claw each of soggy meat, they are now in the fridge. Guess i will make lobster salad or something with them.
I had phoned at 1PM to make sure the order was ready and another gentleman answered and said "There is a cooking staff that takes care of the orders - I just answer the phone!" He couldn't look to see if my lobsters were ready for steaming? I wouldn't be surprised if these lobsters were not put in a large freezer in the back.
I am from Rhode Island and used to scuba dive and catch lobsters in traps - I know what a good lobster should look, feel and taste like. Do yourself a favor, go to Red Lobster and order 2 for yourself and skip this dive. They are deceitful and dishonest. She said I specifically asked for 8AM pickup- OMG!!!
Merry Christmas, Ms. Cameron, you sure spoiled our's.

Visited the store last month in September 2021. I purchased crab cakes for dinner and my family loved them.My husband and I each purchased a hot seafood meal and we loved it.
We are making a trip there now for more. This is a 🤩 day for my family!!!
