Excellent Food, Excellent Service

I have been wanting to go to Twin Owls for quite some time. I finally made reservations this Holiday season. The waiters and staff were exceptionally wonderful. The food on the other hand was not bad, but atrocious. The elk kabobs appetizers were great. The beet and house salads were great as well, but then came the entrees, buffalo ribeye and my friend had the elk sirloin. Both were way over cooked
and the taste/seasonings was terrible and was practically uneatable. I brought the leftovers for my pets. I told the waiter that I never return food and didn't want anything else. He gave us some crí¨me brulee as a consolation. It tasted as though it had no vanilla and wasn't sweet at all. It tasted like whipped heavy cream and eggs. The caramelized sugar was scorched black. Overall, it was hands down the worst food I have ever had at a fine dining establishment.
