Eat there all the time

I was visiting my elderly mother and she wanted to take me to lunch. She's on a fixed income and I normally would pick up the tab. We sat on the patio and each ordered the shrimp pita which was $14 on both the hard copy menu and the online menu (scanned their barcode). It was very good and the server was attentive and very sweet. When we received the bill, she was charged $15 for the pitas. I checked the menu again on my phone and I was correct and I mentioned it to the server. He left and returned, saying that the owner just changed the price and it wasn't yet changed on the menu. My mother paid the bill but she thought that the owner would have adjusted it. After the tab was settled, I went inside to order a dessert to go. It was just the server and a bartender. I mentioned to the server that I thought the owner should have honored the price that was on the menu. The bartender barked, "It was $15. I asked if he was the owner and he said "yes". I said "it said $14 on the menu". He said "No, it didn't". So I looked on my phone where I had scanned the barcode and the lunch menu was completely gone. There were no lunch menus anywhere to be seen. He, snidely, said to me "All this for $2.00" and I replied that it wasn't about the $2 as much as customer service and his attitude towards a customer. He turned his back on me. As much as we enjoyed our lunch, I will never give my business to this snotty little brat, again.
