Lady was rude on the phone and in person. We sent a steer to be butchered and she took my order, confirmed everything twice bc I called back in to clarify, and then they butchered it the way they saw fit anyway. They didn’t sort, package, or label as they said they would. For example. Asked for boxes to be labeled by side 1 and side 2 to make sharing with family easy which they said they’d do and then did t. Ordered vacuum sealed and got paper. Asked for 1†steaks and got .5â€- .75â€. Then at pickup she said she was unaware of any of the order details we confirmed twice over the phone. Will not return as a customer.

I have never had a disappointing experience at Schuff's. Their meat is wonderful; they work with me to provide everything I could want; the vacuum-seal my order for me and even hand-deliver it to my car. Their scrapple can be good to great, depending on who is preparing it. There is nothing I don't like about this butcher shop.

I got the picnic package deal, which in included delicious jumbo hot dogs! Also, pork spare ribs... and abt. a box of 24 hamburgers.
The hamburgers, must have been extra lean; because after baking on lowest possible temp. allowed...They were tasteless and very hard to chew or digest! It was just no use after several attempts to not throw them out. There were something else with the deal but I cant remember now...

I have bought Scrapple at Trouts Market in Woodsboro. Why have you changed the formula in the Scrapple ? It does not taste the same ! Where has the meat taste gone ? It is wetter with more meal rather than the meat taste ! It does not taste as good as the previous formula that has been famous for years ! This taste is more of a MUSH ! Please go back to the previous taste !
