My friend and I went to the Derby for breakfast on a Monday morning. The place wasn't busy but clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast menu looked interesting but we finally decided on corned beef hash with 2 eggs any style for me. My friend had a BLT with an egg-unusual but very tasty. All the ingredients were fresh, and the corned beef is made on site. Eggs were perfectly cooked as ordered.
My only negative comment would be about the hot chocolate we both ordered. Watery, not very flavorful,
probably from a mix, and the token whipped cream-mostly air from an aerosol can-disappeared almost immediately.
I would go there again, but would not order the hot chocolate!

Walked in to " sit anywhere" ...it was about 12:45 pm. Every booth was dirty and there was food and napkins on the floor. Our waitress appeared in VERY short shorts...almost indecent. Made excuses for the condition of the dining room and explained why there were only two waitresses on... " if there are more we don't make any money". Took forever to get my coffee...when she finally took the order..it was at least 45 minutes before before food arrived. French fries were stone cold and the Reuben was so greasy i had to eat it with a knife and fork, eliminating the bottom. Just sayin...do Not go there.!!! It is AWFUL!!!!!
