Taste like Luby’s on a bad day. Servers were nice. The kitchen staff. Was on auto pilot. If you are hungry and need something in your belly. There nothing bad just nothing good Just food!! Its edible fill your gut. But I believe they lost their flavor and love for cooking. It’s food

Some time ago I ate at Kelys but today we milked food my God that was terribly bad no flavor the Hashbrowns without salt the steak without flavor or salt completely Disappointed â˜¹ï¸ with the junk food it was thrown away it was disgusting 🤮 completely

We've eaten @ Kelly's for years. This was an unpleasant experience today. The food was rather tasteless. The broccoli was cold and not drained and the hollandaise sauce was put on top of the soggy broccoli. The rolls which are usually delicious, were warm, but not very good at all. The chicken fried steak was pounded to death and overcooked.
The bright spot was the service. The young man was very attentive and polte.

I've been in this area for the past 25 years and will admit that Kelly's use to be one of the better places to eat. Times have certainly changed for them. The family friendly folks are long gone. The MANAGEMENT seems to be all about the $, no customer satisfaction on there agenda. The last 2 times we visited, the wait staff appeard to be running the place. Bad attitudes with no worries of management stepping in to make an effort to remedy the situation. Have pretty much removed them from our familys dinning choices.

it was Sunday night at 10 till eight. sat down waited for 15 min. Then finally sever came to us. I told her we like to order. she said we are closed and kitchen service has stopped. sign on door says 10 o'clock. she said we closed early. then walked off

Your ad says you get what you pay but at Kelly's you get more that you pay for in what way?
We stopped by Kelly's for dinner in La Marque on Christmas 12/25/2015 around 3:00 pm. It was a moderately busy crowd, but we took a seat . As we sat down the Waitresses standing in front of us, ignored us and had a heated conversation of who was going to serve us... right in front of us. We waited on a waitress for 25 min. At 3:25 approx we finally we ordered food . I ordered the fish and shrimp, and my girlfriend the Holiday turkey dinner . We waited another 30 minutes for them to bring out A shrimp platter instead of my fish and shrimp and my girlfriend never got her Holiday Dinner . The shrimp platter was taken back and 10 min later they brought my fish platter and the holiday dinner , with No silverware ....we requested silverware, napkins. We were brought plastic to go silverware sets. The other tables had real silverware made of real steel .
My dinner was fine, but my girlfriend's Holiday dinner seemed to be undercooked and two sides where cold. The Dressing looked and tasted like some sort of goo The green beans where cold just like they came out of the can, the broccoli casserole was hot but everything stuck to together. When we talked with the manager she said " I have tasted it and it was fine". She did not look at the plate and did not taste our food, so I have no idea what she was talking about. She continued as turning away from us, not listening or hearing, interrupted us , asked if we wanted another side dish, then said " Ok, Ok, everything is fine, walking away from the table, leaving us with our mouths open in awe. We could only figure out that she did not recognize the entree , and thought it was a side dish.
After giving the manager a chance to make this right and her lack of interest to do so . I was hoping that someone in the corporate office would be willing to make this right. I have eaten at Kelly 's for years for Thanksgiving and other holidays and never had bad service like i did this Christmas. As we were leaving an elderly couple entered and I feared for their holiday meal. Please don't let this continue.
