Just too much salt. Ordered chicken and dumplings, black eyed peas and turnips. All three in quart size so pretty disappointed with the level of sodium in all three. I believe the food is good especially for those who love salt. I personally can't eat it.

Poorest service ever. Had the chicken and dumplings or should I say no chicken and dumplings and the dumplings came out under cooked doughy taste.

We were the first ones in when the restaurant opened up that day. Some of the food was already cold and the biscuits were hard. I was very disappointed.

Prices higher than menu got special which includes 2 veg. two can sodas 2 pieces of pie special 4.99 they charged 6.99. 2 can sodas 1. 25 each í—2 $2.50 they charged 1.99 each í—2 $3.98 2 pieces of pie they charged 1.99 each í—2 $3.98. Meal was $15.98 should have been around $10.00. We shared the 1 meal. We will not go back.

Your food is ok, but do you EVER cook anything that has NO SALT in it? A lot of your food items have an over abundance of salt in them. Please cut back if you can! You already have shakers on your tables. Salt not good especially for seniors!

We enjoy eating Jackson's delicious food! My family frequently calls in pick- up orders. The one thing that has become very frustrating is that they never have black eyed peas available, even though it is a menu item. We call on different nights to order and they don't have them. Please make them more available.... Thank you!!

I've eaten at all of the Carolina Jackson's cafeterias for many years. Their food and standards remain constant.
The roast beef is my favorite.
I know by reading the negative reviews, they are bogus and critics have not actually experienced Jacksons.

Chicken was cold and pink, there were dirty silverware on floor under table. Had not ate there in 2-3 years won't be back.
