I absolutely love Chicken King! No matter what you're craving, they have you covered with delicious options. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and they are willing to accommodate any requests you may have.

Placed an order today I called them back to let them know the chicken was overcooked and terrible looking he then argued with me and hung up on me the staff is very rude and unprofessional I will not ever eat a chicken king again in Mount Holly Charlotte Avenue

Prices on menu does not match what you are charged , I had two dollars more added to my bill and I don't know what it was for, will not be back

Eat here a few times each week so I know what I am talking about. Food is good with OK prices. I have a couple recommendations if you go eat here. If you do a call in order, be sure to ALWAYS check your order before you leave. Casey and Whitley, the 2 main order takers, are great to talk to, but seem to only have a 50 / 50 chance of getting everything in the bag. Another thing to be aware of, is if you are going there for supper you better get there early as they run out of the daily vegetables almost every evening. And last but definitely not least, their chicken is very good, but be careful with the wings. Be sure to smell the meat before eating. I ordered some to go one day and discovered that a few of them had spoiled. Guess the cook that day had a few left over in the bottom of the bucket and said "what the heck!". Other than that, this IS an over all good place to eat. Good atmosphere, clean eating areas and good food.

Chicken King was referred by a co-worker and I went and loved it took my family back and they loved it also. As others have said the employees are friendly and very welcoming to all. Good food, good experience will go back again. Chicken King keep doing what you are doing!

Best Food ever in Mt Holly. Nothing bad there. The Servers are GREAT. They know your name if you're a regular. They speak to everyone who comes thru the door. If you love chicken and dumplings, try their's. YUM!!!
I moved away from Mt Holly, but I still go back.

The Chicken King has great food and the servers provide plenty of smiles and and are very friendly. It is one of my favorite places to eat.
