Evans Deli is a wonderful little spot where I enjoy grabbing a tenderloin and egg biscuit on Saturday mornings, and their portions are so generous that I often have leftovers for lunch. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, filled with truckers and locals, and the food is consistently delicious, from catfish and hush puppies to chicken livers and corn salad. While it may be unassuming in appearance, the hearty country cooking is sure to leave you pleasantly surprised.
