I have eaten at River Bend for 25 years and the food and service have been very good until tonight. The service was horrible. No one had taken our drink order after 15 minutes. When our waitress finnaly arrived we placed our food orders with our drink orders. There were only 4 of us but it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We mentioned the lack of service to management but they were less than helpful. As a matter of fact, they were rude to my son-in-law who complained to them. I will not be eating at River Bend again.

This was the first time in 20 years that I have eaten at Riverbend and it was WONDERFUL!! The catfish, hushpuppies and coleslaw was absolutely the best and it was good to see the view from the patio again after all these years. A restaurant that has been in business in Thomaston for 40 years, defines its quality of food and its great staff (PERFECTION) is the only way to describe this wonderful restaurant. Keep up the good work!!!
