The restaurant offers a comfortable, casual setting with a friendly and warm staff, and the food is basic but delicious. The buffet had a great selection, the service was amazing, and the environment was very welcoming.

We went to Daniels Steak House on Easter. Got the buffet and it was delicious. Everything was fresh, the fried chicken was fabulous, our server was friendly. We highly recommend. Going back for lunch tomorrow.

Yes as the owner said I could have left but I brought a group of seniors there last Friday. I opted not to eat the awful buffet so I got the French dip. What a mistake. Dried left over pieces of beef thrown on a roll..hardly French dip. There is no excuse for the poor food that is being served.

Part time resident of Hiawassee. Must say Daniel's is my favorite restaurant. Love the buffet. Food is delicious and the service is fantastic.
Today is our 54th Anniversary and we will celebrate this date at Daniel's for dinner.

We always eat at Daniels every time we come to Hiawassee. Great food and really nice people.

The buffet is well kept, there are more choices than found on most buffets, and the food is always good. The fried chicken is exceptional! My husband really enjoys the variety on the salad bar as well.
They are doing a super job of keeping customers safe during this time of COVID, which I appreciate.
The staff is always friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend this place.

Above average buffet. It's not the most highest quality of food. The fried chicken is amazing. The steak is decent but you can tell it is not the best of cuts. Luckily they season it right. I usually don't order drinks since they charge more for that and I like to save a buck or two :)

Well the set up is screwy the signs say Danile steakhouse Buffet! When you get there no steak on buffet it's separate and independent of items. Also they charge you for tea,sodas, that should come with the buffet, it's okay price for seniors,but dessert bar, no ice cream,that sucks,it a turn off, I BEEN THERE NO CONSISTENT STAFF DOING THINGS INDEPENDENTLY SO YOU GET MIX MESSAGES IF I PAYING FOR A STEAK SOME STAFF WILL LET YOU HAVE ITEMS OFF THE BUFFET, OTHERS WANT TO CHARGE YOU A 1.50 A ITEM! THAT REALLY GOT ME UPSET!!! OVERALL VETS A TWO STARS FOR SERVICE, OTHERWISE A GIVEN THEM 3-4 STAR FOR STEAK A 3,AND BUFFET A 3/2 STAR! THANK YOU FRUSTATED IN HIAWASSEE!!!

We love Daniels Steakhouse and eat there several times a month. The food is always well prepared and there is a great variety to choose from on the buffet. The salad bar is huge and always kept fresh, and has several different kinds of salad, from sea food to chicken. Their fried chicken is so crisp and tender that I can't resist. There is always at least one other choice for the main entrí©e, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and corn bread, along with vegetables and desert. Great price too! The staff is fantastic. They are so friendly and attentive. Even though it is a buffet, they are there for whatever you need. We definitely recommend Daniels.

Lunch buffet review: Variety of fresh tasty saladswith excellent choice of dressings. Cornbread with flavor and old-timey texture reminiscent of what I remember years ago as a child. Fried chicken crisp tender and flavorful. Proper seasoning let the flavor of the fresh vegetables come through and iced tea, definitely not of the premixed instant variety. Many attractive tasty desserts sensibly in small portions since I just room for the strawberry shortcake. Host and waitresses were most courteousand and attentive. Excellent value! Positive experience! I'll be back!
