The food at this BBQ joint is fantastic, especially the pulled pork. Despite a bit of a wait for service, the overall experience is definitely worth it with great staff and a lively atmosphere.

For a number of years, I have visited this restaurant. I always order Brunswick Stew. In the past, it had chunks of meat that was setting in a tomato soup base, but always with distinct ingredient definition. My visit on August 12, 2021 at 11:30 was concerning to me. When my bowl of Brunswick Stew was placed on the table, I told my sister it looked like it was made from scraps. After a few bites, I had a nickle size gristle in the stew. I tried to get past it then I bit down on a quarter size of even harder gristle, and I broke my tooth. So I quit eating. My sister informed the waitress who reported it to the owner. She eventually came to the table and we had a discussion. She said that the person who makes the Stew grinds all that stuff up and she couldn't understand how that could happen. This truly confirmed my original thought that it was made from the scraps. I suppose times are hard due to Covid. I personally would pay a dollar or so more to get to order the quality of the Stew serve before Covid. Everyone was friendly, the service was great, the food arrived at our table very fast, and the cost of my Stew was removed from our check. Please go back to the way you use to make Stew. Serving quality food has made you what you are today. But hiding scraps in a bowl of Stew will make you lose customers.

Food is delicious. Try the hot cheese bites and the fried pickles. They are the best we've every had. I always order the Superspud. It a 1 pound baked potato loaded with BBQ, butter, and cheese. Sour cream is available upon request. It's so good. The staff is sweet and so helpful. Never had bad service there. We eat there at least once a week.

No wait at all & we were in just after a big church crowd. Service was swift & curteous. Food was excellent. My husband had the ribs & baked beans. I had the pork plate w/ okra & Brunswick stew. All was delicious. All 5 staff that I personally came in contact were not only helpful, but smiling & friendly too. Will be back again soon!!

Dub's High On The Hog is soo Amazing. I eat there almost every friday and if not then i'm there on saturday. I AM INLOVE WITH DUB'S.

Food was bad, and the Service was worst. Servers were rude. The owner or Manager didn't seem to care.

I've travelled all over this country, especially the South and this about as good as it gets. I've been there with parties from 2 - 10 people and ALWAYS had great service!

Rude service. Building was cold and we were rushed to finish our food since they were closing. 20% added to your bill if parties of 6 or more, we had 4 adults and 2 children and one child only ate a cup of stew. I guess this is the only way they can get a tip since their service if so bad. This is not the first time we have had bad service but it will definitely be our last.

Food is excellent but service is terrible. We do not mind waiting for a table or for our food when they are busy but it's crazy when you can not get BBQ sauce, drink refills or items left off of orders. We had to get and go to the check out counter to inquire about the items. We still did not receive the items. This was our 4th straight visit to the restaurant that the bad service has occured.

Always a great expericence. Ribs are outstanding, as I perfer them dry to get a better taste of the smoked meat. Have no idea where "local customer" is coming from calling out one sever in particular. My advice, remember that they treat you the very same way that you treat them folks. I have NEVER had a bad experience with Ms. Harwell.

Best ribs I have ever eaten!!!!!!!!!! Good service. Manager personally checked on us. They want your meal to be excellent and it was. Drinks kept full. Great place

Great food, especially for Calhoun. Very clean and the BBQ is really good. The ribs are not cheap, but are some of the best I've had. I've heard the steaks are very good as well.
