While I was disappointed to find they were out of rice during my visit, the BBQ was impressive, with the hash standing out as a highlight despite being a bit greasy. With generous portions and a cozy, local vibe, this establishment is a true treasure for anyone craving hearty Southern fare while traveling through the area.

The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the meats are simply delicious. While the hash was a bit greasy, the value is fantastic and the country local vibe makes it a perfect stop for a hearty meal.

This is the best barbecu and hash. Love meals with large servings. Sweet tea..GA best. Sandwichs are great. Recommend to all. Also great friendly service and gave free grits with butter as you go out door..can't get any better. Also fast service is great.

Grew up Saturday morning breakfast: Grits Eggs with Chopped Pork & Skin and Hash on side.
Only thing better is Fried Brim from Backwater Fishing areas.

Regardless of where I have lived. Thomson Barbecue Hash is never on point( they do not have the secrect)

Man Neal's Barbecue is the best barbecue place anyone would want to eat at. The sandwiches and food there is soooo good I drives from Augusta to Thomson too get this barbecue that's how good the food is

The best. I love this BBQ.Its homemade on a rsal pit, all their food has a down home taste. Its really the best BBQ I've tasted in a long time. You can see the real pit in back, and the hard working people that make this good down home cooking. dont pass up a GREAT BBQ

The best home town BBQ. We drive over 200 miles to enjoy the taste. The home made cakes are the real deal. friendly people ALWAYS. Been going for 12 years and don't plan to stop. Be my guest and try one of the BEST.

Best BBQ around. Well worth the drive to Thomson. Thursday until sold out on Saturday.
