My favorite is the "House Special" with chicken, steak & shrimp, always ready for takeout. This Mexican restaurant never disappoints with delicious, quick service and a packed atmosphere, showcasing its popularity.

We've been eating at Casa Mexico for about 10 yrs now. The food has always been good, but we've had minor issues here and there, never anything major until last night. On 7/27 we ordered 2 House Specials, 2 Steak Quesadillas and large cheese bowl. While my daughter was eating her quesadilla, she discovered a black hair in her food. I told her to throw it away. I felt bad so I gave her the rest of mine. She found another black hair in it!! At this point I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. I was told there was no manager on duty, to call back in the morning and speak to one. The girl didn't even ask what the problem was! I told her about the hairs and she said the same thing, call in the morning and talk to the manager. So I did just that. This time I talked with Luis, who said he was the manager. I explained what happened. He then said in all his 25 years (of being in the business I guess) he's never had that happen. Then he tells me he's not saying I am but he deals with people making that kind of stuff up all the time. Really?! He finally tells me he'll give me another steak quesadilla. I told him I didn't want another quesadilla, I wanted my money back. He said that wasn't gonna happen, so I say ok, give me half my money. He told me I should have brought it back that night, I said she should have said that and I would have. Then he asked me what time I called back last night and I told him exactly. He said he would talk to the girl I spoke with and call me back. He called back about an hour later after talking to her. He informed me the girl I spoke with the night before was Giselle and he said she had been there for 10 yrs. We hen he talked to her, she told him she had told me to bring the food back. She lied!!! He actually told me I was putting him in a rough position! So he decided he was going to give me 20% off my bill the next time I dined with them. Do you really think I will every spend another dime with you after finding not one but two hairs in my food, you made excuses and act like I'm just trying to get a free meal, AND your staff lies to save their own butt?! No sir, I won't spend another dime in Casa Mexico and I will tell everyone just how unprofessional and nasty this restaurant is.

If price was same for takeout as for dine in I would give them 5 stars. I got charged 2.50 extra for salsa and.75 takeout fee. Food was excellent. If dine in, it's very good. If takeout, not fair. Nobody else in Byron charges extra. Amounts to about a 30% surcharge.

Absolutely Amazing!!! Best experience Ever!!!! I would recommend for the taste down to the service , cleanliness, and overall warm fuzzie I have gotten from eating here. Well priced and LOTS of Delicious choices to choose from. I had the carnitas and my husband had the steak fajitas... Don't miss out on this great place. Definitely in our budget for a date nite.

The food, the ambiance and the excellent treatment by the employees was so typical of the very good treatment I have gotten used to receiving in the very finest Mexican Restaurants in Mexico.

If you live in the area, you owe it to yourself to experience this fine eating and get to know Ms. Norma and her daughters. I'm sure you'll find that it's like eating at the home of a family member.

Try the house special, generous amounts of shrimp and chicken well seasoned over rice with a white cheese sauce--yummy! Friendly staff, quick service a large menu and reasonable prices keep me coming back.
