Food here is excellent; prices are fair. Service is occasionally spotty... (hey, good help is hard to find) Never been disappointed here. Check out the Speisekammer next door. Plenty of imported German Lebensmittel not found anywhere else. Love this place.

Our family loved this restaurant until today. We had taken family/friends from out of town here on multiple occasions. I was absolutely shocked by the response our waitress gave us today. Our food has always been great along with service prior to today. I ordered the pork chops with sauerkraut with mashed potatoes. The pork chops tasted as though they were soaked in hotdog water and salt. I thought the pork chops would be breaded like the schnitzel, so it was a misunderstanding on my part. I was just going to eat it since I am not usually picky, but it was just not good. I took one bite and my husband also took a bite. It was so gross I couldn't eat them. My husband gave me half of his schnitzel or I would have starved. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she told me I would have to buy an entire another meal. My husband asked if she could do anything, and just said "no, sorry you would have to buy another meal". This has happened to us a couple of times over the years and we have never been told sorry there was nothing they could do. We have always been able to get what we wanted to order, especially when it was a simple misunderstanding. We also usually have dessert, but today we didn't. We just wanted to leave. BTW, we had no kids today which is extremely rare, so it was a special day.

One of my local favorites.
Many traditional German and Bavarian dishes.
Amazing cucumber salad!
Amazing rib-eye.
Fantastic deserts.
The place is pretty small, has both booth and table and bar seating.
The kitchen is actually upstairs.
Service was always very good and the food made with quality fixings.
