The service was great and our server made sure everything was to our liking, from our orders being correct to keeping our glasses full. We tried a variety of dishes, including sushi, sashimi, and hibachi, and found some items to be quite spectacular while others were more average. Despite some minor issues with upcharges and inconsistencies in pricing, the overall experience was enjoyable and we appreciated the efforts of our server.

The sushi was great! They had sliced possum slivers and squirrel brains. Bestest brains I've had all year! Will be coming back for more!

I love Mori! I eat there several times a month. Their sushi is fantastic. I love the firecracker roll!

I have been to mori several times, and the food has always been ok. Not bad atmosphere, but could be better. What can you expect for Georgia? I did really like the waitress though. Her name was Stephanie. She was really sweet and attentive. I tried to tell the person at the front desk how much we enjoyed her service, but it was some korean lady and she was rude. My friend told me that was the owner. Oh well.

I took my children to mori for a show and delicious dinner. The show turned out to be a disgraceful fight i the lobby. At first I was appalled that the servers would bicker in the lobby around all of the customers. Later, I realized it was the owner and a server. How ridiculous. I will never bring my young children back to this place. The owners working there obviously have no concept of professional behavior.

The food was tasty enough, but the service was great! I especially liked the cute girls. Yikes!!!!!

I've lived in Hawaii and have eaten tons of sushi there and in Japan and Singapore. Mori's sushi is very good, and I've been there about a dozen times. Don't listen to the negative sushi reviews as far as I'm concerned, because the quality of the sushi here hold up to all the places I've been in Hawaii and Asia. Can't speak about the Hibachi--I haven't eaten that.

My first and last time visiting this place.I wanted good sushi and here it was horrible. First I asked the waiter Jeoff to explain to me the details of the sushi. I asked his opinion and he couldn't give me any advice. This wasnt my first time having sushi as I have it about every two weeks at a restaurant in Gainesville called Dragonfly which is soooo good. The waiter Jeoff at Mori act as if it was his first day working, had a flat affect with everyone. The host was strict about where you could sit and was sort of rude about it. There wasn't a pleasant attitude about any of the employees, no smiles, few please and thank you's. The food was bland, the rice was sticky and dry. I tastes one of my sushi rolls and spit it into my napkin because it was nasty. Told he waiter it was nasty and he asked if I wanted him to take it away. I said yes. When my bill came the nasty sushi hat I sent back was still on there. I asked to speak with the manager, and the waiter went to talk with him. I was told to go to the front reception area to speak with the manager instead of him coming to me (the customer). The manager would not take my sushi order off but offered to make me another, which I did not want, but when I said I wouldn't pay for it, just my entree, he said he would call the police and I had to pay. So I asked for a different roll which took he 5 minutes to make (ewwww!!!). And that one (shrimp tempura) was nasty and cold also!!! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I spent $24.81 on CRAP!!!!

Mori gets high praise from the locals for serving delicious food, with excellent service, in a pleasant atmosphere. BUT, don't be too quick to follow ill advice. Mori is simply not that great. The food is average, but for the price it leaves you less than satisfied. The atmosphere is not all that exotic, squeezed between a tanning salon and a gym. If you become overly hot, or the smell of gas grills becomes too much, the owners are quick to dismiss you in favor of other customers. It is clear in this establishment that money is number one, and customers are only catered to as a means of lining their own pockets. A few underhanded tricks to save money include charging for birthday celebrations, serving meager salads, filling non refillable drinks like Shirley Temples and juices with an excessive amount of ice in a glass that is much smaller than anyone else's. And to top it off, their establishment is infested with roaches and mice. My friend Dianne had a mouse crawl over her foot in the Sushi area. Another friend of mine who once worked there told me how often they would fish a roach out of the soup and continue to serve it. She was not fired or disgruntled, by the way. I plan never to eat there again, and to keep my friends, family, and community members away. The only reason I can think of for Mori being at all popular in Valdosta is perhaps because the people there have not ventured out into the world much. There are better priced, friendlier Japanese restaurants! I recommend Ichiban, or going out of Valdosta.
